Early Five's Program

Building Blocks Learning Center’s Early Fives Program is dedicated to the growth and enrichment of older preschoolers to heighten awareness of their community and world around them.  Our experienced administration and staff have developed a program that promotes kindergarten readiness among those students that are taking their last few steps towards the formal education process.

Our Early Fives program emphasizes math, language arts, and science. The program also features art, movement, and social studies as an integral part of learning.  Curriculum is presented by degreed teachers and offers a variety of challenges through several content areas.

• Science lessons are explored through thematic units, and enriched by hands on experiments.
• Math topics are applied to real life and childrens’ own experiences.  Children are lead to the concrete disciplines of addition and subtraction.
• Language Arts is taught through phonetic and literature based lessons, and enhanced by “Hooked On Phonics”.
